For sales, we categorize the data into product sales, refunds, shipping, tax, promotions, and other. For expenses, we categorize into fulfillment, commission, storage, and advertisement.
Yes, COGS for inventory items is automatically calculated if you use inventory tracking. QuickBooks Online natively uses FIFO (first-in-first-out) algorithm to calculate the COGS for an inventory item.

Yes, inventory tracking is available in the Professional tier. The inventory tracking feature uses QuickBooks Online's inventory as a source of truth, and it enables automatic calculation of COGS when the sale occurs rather than when the product was sourced.
